Mikaela Serafin, Counselor
Email: mikaelas@eastsideacademy.org

Mikaela was raised on the dirt roads of the California Central Valley, arguably the heartland of American agriculture. She spent her days assisting on her family’s farm until she decided to make a home amongst Seattle skyscrapers.

Mikaela is currently a graduate student at The Seattle School of Theology and Psychology, pursuing both her Masters in Divinity and Masters in Counseling Psychology. Mikaela’s work focuses on the intersection of theology, psychology, feminism, and agriculture. She is committed to fighting for the flourishing of all people and creating formative environments for one to find true belonging and freedom.

Between papers and exams, Mikaela is passionate about good coffee, local farmer’s markets, dry shampoo, and the San Francisco Giants…although she does have a growing soft spot for Seattle sports teams–but don’t tell anyone! : ) On any given day, you will most likely find Mikaela at her favorite local coffee shop with a good book and friend.
