Carl Dodd, Director of Student Services and Chaplain
Carl is originally from Liverpool, England.  He received his Masters in Youth & Community Work from Durham University and is also an accredited Local Preacher in the British Methodist Church.  He has been involved in ministry for over 18 years and has developed both church-based ministries and community projects.  These have included a community youth cafe, music projects, environmental projects and skate ministry.  Before leaving England, Carl worked as part of a national team that trained, and developed the Methodist Church to hear the voices of young people and equip the students to step up as leaders in their local church.  He is passionate about making sure that people have the easiest pathway to know Jesus.  He has a heart for helping people explore the God-given potential for their lives and to know that God will walk alongside them even in the most difficult of times.
Carl enjoys spending his free time with his wife, Rachel and two daughters aged 6 and 3 years old.  A great family day is being at the beach with their two dogs. Having moved to the PNW from Missouri in June 2016, Carl is enjoying weather that reminds him of home!
