Vocational and Job Training

Eastside Academy believes that helping students develop job skills is an impotant aspect of their success. As a result, Eastside Academy provides many opportunities for vocational and job training. Eastside Academy has offered students classes in cooking, woodshop, computer skills, and public speaking to name a few.

In addition, Eastide Academy allows students to not only participate in work study and internships in the community but to also earn credit for their work.

EA also conducts a Job Shadow Day annually. This day allows students to follow an adult working in a field that the student finds interesting. Students gain real world expereince and knowledge through the relationships they build on this day.
